Men’s Health Week at Lawrence County Memorial Hospital

  • June 10th through the 16th is recognized as Men’s Health Week and is always the week leading into Father’s Day.
  • The purpose of Men’s Health Week is to heighten the awareness of preventable health problems and encourage early detection and treatment of disease among men and boys.
  • During this week, Lawrence County Memorial Hospital wants to take the time to encourage men and boys to seek regular medical advice and early treatment for disease and injury.
  • For those times outside of regular business hours you can always utilize LCMH’s Primary Care Clinic or the Emergency Room. But make sure to take the time each year to see your physician for a wellness check that could also help with early detection of certain issues.
