Celebrating Occupational Therapists in the month of April

  • In the month of April, Lawrence County Memorial Hospital is celebrating occupational therapists, including LCMH’s own OT Holly Moore!
  • So, what is occupational therapy? Occupational therapists work with people of all ages who need specialized assistance to lead independent, productive, and satisfying lives due to physical, developmental, social, or emotional problems. Occupational therapists use the “occupations” of self-care, work, and play/leisure activities to increase independence, enhance development, and/or prevent disability.
  • Do you want to learn more about occupational therapy and learn more about what Lawrence County Memorial Hospital has to offer? Give them a call at 618-943-1000 or click here for more information!
  • Happy Occupational Therapy Month from Lawrence County Memorial Hospital!
