Nellie Frances Pulleyblank, age 101 of St. Francisville, passed away Saturday, August 8, 2020 in Lawrenceville at the United Methodist Village. She was born June 19, 1919 in East Mt. Carmel, IN to William I. Culver and his wife Fannie Jane (Beals) Culver.
In April of 1938, Nellie married Calvin F. “Beaver” Pulleyblank.
Nellie was a long-time member of the Emmanuel Tabernacle in St. Francisville. After working for many years as a beautician at her salon in St. Francisville with her sister Virginia “Dinky Cabbasier, she retired. Nellie was loved by many and will be missed.
She is survived by numerous nieces and nephews whom she enjoyed and loved.
Nellie was preceded in death by: her beloved husband- Calvin F. “Beaver” Pulleyblank: her parents- William I. and Fannie Jane Culver: six sisters- Mittie Davis, Mable Culver in infancy, Ruby Clark, Edith Walton, Violet Isgrigg, and Virginia “Dinky” Cabbasier.
Funeral services for Nellie Pulleyblank will be held at 11:00 a.m. at the Emmanuel Tabernacle in St. Francisville on Tuesday, August 11, 2020. Visitation will take place at the church from 9:00 a.m. until service time at 11:00 a.m. Burial will be in Oaklawn Cemetery. Cunningham Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
