The Chicago Cubs begin their truncated 60 game baseball season Friday night when they host the Milwaukee Brewers for a three game weekend series at Wrigley Field. Kyle Hendricks will make his first Opening Day start for the Cubs against Brandon Woodruff. The Cubs solidified their 30 man season roster Thursday. One of the moves was placing left handed pitcher Jose Quintana on the 10 day disabled list. Another was selecting the contract of Terre Haute Indiana native catcher Josh Phegley as a backup. The contest will also mark the debut of former Cub David Ross as manager replacing Joe Maddon. You can catch the action on Lite 103 WAKO beginning with the pregame show at 5:35 p.m. Central Time and the play by play with Pat Hughes and Ron Coomer at 6:10. p.m.
