Unofficial reports indicate that a downtown Lawrenceville restaurant has closed voluntarily due to a COVID-19 threat. Alfonso’s Pizza and Pasta on 12th Street announced on its Facebook page that an employee had tested positive for the virus despite following health guidelines. The establishment says that they have been in contact with the Lawrence County Health Department and again closed their doors voluntarily to protect other workers, customers, and the community. Management also said that during the closure, the entire location will be cleaned and throughly sanitized.
