flu-virus

The Illinois Department of Public Health reports 614 confirmed cases of coronavirus Monday across the state with 6 deaths. One of those new cases was reported by the Lawrence County Health Department. A female employee of the Dairy-Dee in Sumner in her 40s tested positive for the disease and is now in home isolation with contact tracing being done.  The woman is not a Lawrence County resident. The Dairy-Dee has since voluntarily closed as a community health protection. The LCHD says that anyone consuming food or ice cream from the location does not need to be tested. There are now 2 active local cases with 6 recovered and no deaths. Four cases were reported Monday in neighboring Richland County with the health department there closing the Musgrove Aquatic Center in Olney after a confirmed exposure.
