Phase Four of Governor J.B. Pritzger’s “Restore Illinois” plan begins Friday across the state. Phase Four means that indoor dining, youth sports, and gatherings up to 50 people can occur and museums, theatres, fitness centers, bowling alleys and businesses can open back up with strict health guidelines and limited capacities. However, the governor says that entering into this new phase does not mean that people should stop following health and safety guidelines such as wearing masks in public places, social distancing when possible and frequently washing hands. The governor did indicate that if cases begin to spike again, he would not hesitate to move the state back to tighter restrictions.
