The Vincennes Board of Works and Safety has approved the transfer of the Gimbel Corner property to the Vincennes Redevelopment Commission. The move was made at the request of the city. It will be easier for that area which is currently a green-space to be developed under the RDC than under the city itself. The City Council did table until July 13th the revised landscaping ordinance to allow for additional work and study before potential passage on that date. Also tabled until July 13th was the Schott Tax Abatement.
