The Illinois High School Association has now formally submitted its Return to Play guidelines for summer and fall to the Illinois Department of Public Health. In the proposal, contests are limited to up to 50 participants including players, coaches and referees. If a school chooses to allow fans at the games, they are allowed at 20% of the venue capacity. There are other proposals for the various fall sports included in addition to football. If approved, the new guidelines could go into effect as early as next Friday June 26th.
