The Illinois Department of Public Health reports there were 929 new cases of coronavirus across the state Thursday with 116 additional confirmed deaths. Currently there have been a total of 124,759 cases statewide since the pandemic began with 5,736 deaths in 101 counties. Lawrence County remained at 4 confirmed cases with all having recovered and no deaths. Crawford County remains at 11, Wabash County at 6 and Richland County at 4 cases. The state is now opening their community based testing sites at various locations for anyone to get tested regardless of symptoms or other criteria.
