Illinois Governor J.B. Pritzgers motion to have the lawsuit against him filed by 109th District State Representative Darren Bailey moved from Clay County to Sangamon County was denied in court late last week. Clay County Circuit Court Judge Michael McHaney made that ruling Friday. The Illinois Attorney Generals Office had argued the case should be moved since the stay-at-home orders were issued after being filed in Springfield. After denying the motion, the judge asked both sides to appear in court for another hearing on Friday.
