The Illinois Department of Public Health reports there were 1,677 new cases of coronavirus across the state Wednesday with 192 more deaths-the largest daily death total yet in the ongoing pandemic. One of those deaths was in Jasper County where a man in his 90s passed away. Lawrence County remains at 4 confirmed cases with 3 of those recovered and 10 tests pending. Richland County remains at 3, Wabash County 2 and Crawford County 11. There are now 84,698 cases of the disease in the state wth 3,792 deaths in 99 of the 102 Illinois counties.
