MATTINGLY SUSPECTS IN COURT

The two suspects in the shooting death of Kimberly Mattingly of Paris made their initial appearances Tuesday in Effingham County Circuit Court. Both Christopher Glass of Mason and Aaron Kaiser of Beecher City appeared and were assigned public defenders to represent them. Glass is charged with three counts of murder in the shooting while both men  were charged with concealing the killing by burying the woman on property owned by Kaiser. Preliminary hearings for Glass and Kaiser will be on Wednesday May 20th. Bond was set at $5 million for Glass and $750,000 for Kaiser and both were remanded back into the custody of the Effingham County Sheriffs Department.
