Additional COVID-19 testing sites open up Wednesday across the state of Indiana. That includes a location at the Vincennes National Guard Armory. The test sites are part of a partnership between the Indiana State Department of Health and the firm OptumServe.  IDPH Chief Medical Officer Dr. Lindsey Weaver says that 50 additional sites will be open by the middle of the month to test Hoosiers who are symptomatic, those who have been in close contact to someone infected and front line health care workers. Knox County remains at 20 confirmed cases of the coronavirus. Meanwhile, the Knox County Health Department issued a clarification to it’s announcement this week that self-serve beverage locations at gas stations and resteraunts will not be allowed. They will be open at those locations-but store employees will hand out cups, straws, and lids to reduce the handling of those items by multiple customers.
