The Lawrenceville City Council did not meet last week as the session was postponed due to safety concerns and lack of a quorum. Mayor Don Wagner did make an appearance Monday on “Take Five” on Lite 103 and announced some important dates coming up for city residents. The planned city wide cleanup has been postponed indefinitely. Yard waste pickup will initially been handled by city workers instead of Republic Services due to the ongoing pandemic. Starting next week on Monday the 20th the city will begin the necessary flushing of it’s water hydrants inside the city limits. Residents should check their water next week prior to any use for discoloration. The process should take about one week.
