national-weather-service

The National Weather Service has issued a Wind Advisory for the entire WAKO listening area until 7 p.m. Central Time. Strong winds moved into the region behind the passage of a cold front.  Those winds are from the northwest at 20 to 30 miles per hour with some gusts up to 50 miles per hour. The winds will remain gusty throughout Monday with the highest wind speeds during the late morning-early afternoon hours. These winds will blow around unsecured objects, blow down tree limbs and cause difficult travel conditions for high profile vehicles such as semi-trucks and trucks with campers.
