The Illinois Department of Public Health announced 1,465 new cases of the coronavirus disease Friday. 68 more people died from the disease. New cases were reported in Fulton and Greene counties. Currently there have been a total of 17,887 cases with 596 deaths in 83 counties statewide. No reported new cases in Lawrence County since two were confirmed earlier this week.
