COMMUNITY CROSSINGS INITIATIVE

Indiana Governor Eric Holcomb and Indiana Department of Transportation Commissioner Joe McGuiness Tuesday announced that 214 cities, towns, and counties will recieved a combined $126.5 million in state matching funds through the Next Level Roads: Community Crossings Initiative. To qualify for funding local governments must provide local matching funds and submit an approved asset management plan for maintaining existing roads and bridges. Knox County will recieve approximately $603,000 for its use, the city of Vincennes $233,000 and Bruceville around $78,000.
