The National Weather Service is continuing Flood Warnings for both the Embarras River at Lawrenceville and the Wabash River at Vincennes. The Embarras at Lawrenceville is currently above it’s 30 foot flood stage and is expected to crest and fall below flood on Tuesday. The Wabash at Vincennes was expected to rise above it’s 16 foot flood stage this weekend and stay above flood through Monday March 30th. Both rivers have been on the rise after extensive rainfall earlier this week across the region.
