The National Weather Service has issued a Flash Flood Watch for southeastern Illinois and southwestern Indiana through late Thursday night. Multiple rounds of heavy rainfall will occur over the region where the ground is already saturated and some creeks and streams are already swollen. A Flash Flood Watch means that conditions may develop that could lead to flash flooding.
