The Lawrence County Sheriffs Department Tuesday arrested 26 year old Johnathan Murray of Noble for Probation Violation. He was booked into the Lawrence County Jail and was being held on $30,000 bond. Lawrenceville Police Tuesday picked up 29 year old Brent Barta of Petersburg Indiana on a Lawrence County warrant for Disorderly Conduct. He was released on $1200 bond from the Lawrence County Jail. Vincennes Police says a Kokomo man was arrested on a drug offense after a traffic stop in the 700 block of Main Street. 66 year old John Winters was charged with Possession of Methamphetamine after a K-9 unit alerted officers that drugs were inside the vehicle. A search uncovered approximately 5 grams of the drug under the seat. Winters was being held in the Knox County Jail on $5000 bond.
