Ines Lorene Catterton, age 85 of Sumner, passed away Sunday, February 23, 2020 at AperionCare in Bridgeport. She was born in Harlan County, Kentucky on September 18, 1934 to Harlan and Ruby Brewer.
Ines was first married to Herbert Satterthwaite, and he preceded her in death. On September 17, 1995, Ines married Charlie Catterton, and he survives.
Ines attended New Hope Christian Church, was a loving homemaker to her family, and worked as a CNA for many years. She had worked at Lawrence County Healthcare Center, Bridgeport Nursing Home, Burgin Manor, and Red Hill Healthcare.
Surviving relatives include: her husband- Charlie Catterton of Sumner: two daughters- Tina Marie Garrett and husband Dan of Brazil, IN and Nina May Piper of Lawrenceville: three sisters- Nina Poland, Faith Allender, and Pat Madden: three brothers- Ray, Alvie, and Raney Brewer: eight grandchildren: numerous step-grandchildren: and several great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by: her parents- Harlan and Ruby Brewer: two children- Linda Sue Murray and Herbert Dean Satterthwaite: and one sister- Lola Fox.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, February 27, 2020 at the Cunningham Funeral Home in Bridgeport.
