SALUKIS DROP SECOND GAME IN ROW

salukbluei-3

After losing a tough down to the wire game Tuesday night to the Lawrenceville Indians, the Red Hill Saluki offense was almost non-existent in a 57-32 loss to the Paris Tigers Wednesday night in Bridgeport. The game was rescheduled from mid-January by weather. The Salukis trailed only 19-13 after one quarter but managed only 5 second quarter points to trail 30-18 at the half  and never seriously threatened after that. The visitors expanded the lead to 46-28 after the third quarter and held the Salukis to just four fourth quarter points in the lopsided loss. Drake Allen was the only Saluki in double digits with 11.  Paris won the JV game 47-43 with Dawson Holtz scoring 28 for the Salukis. With the loss Red Hill is now 8-18 overall and 0-6 in Little Illini Conference play. They will try to get back on track Friday when they head to Robinson.
