The Vincennes Fire Department was called out early Monday to a residential fire. Units were dispatched around 4:10 a.m. to the fire location-the residence of Amber Johnson and her fiance Phil McDonald in the 500 block of Manilla Street. Both Johnson and McDonald were able to escape the building after fire broke out in the attic. The fire was contained to that area. No firm damage estimate has been given and the cause was under investigation.
