The Lawrence County Ambulance Board will meet early next month to discuss the recent business proposal made by Deaconess Illinois EMS Services. They will get together on Thursday February 6th at 4 p.m. Deaconess Illinois EMS officials are interested in taking over the local service. They detailed their proposal to the Lawrence County Board recently with the matter being taken under advisement for further study and review. Discussions have been ongoing since last year.
