Both the Parkview 7th and 8th grade Basketball Braves won their opening round games Saturday in the L.E.I.C Tournament at Martinsville. The 7th grade were 38-27 winners over Marshall with Maddux Pargin scoring 15 and Jayden Goff 13. They will play again Monday at 6 p.m. The 8th grade improved to 15-2 with a 45-33 victory over Newton (Jasper County). Bryant Jenkins led the way with 14 points and Zane Underhill added 12. They do not see action in the tournament until Tuesday at 7:15 p.m.
