The Lawrenceville Basketball Indians rallied from a 10 point halftime deficit Saturday and defeated the Odin Eagles 54-45 at the Louisville North Clay Shootout. The Tribe trailed 29-19 at the break but a defensive adjustment made by head coach Randy Bishop spurred the team as they held Odin to just four points in the third quarter and took a 36-33 lead into the fourth. They then held off the Eagles down the stretch outscoring them 18-12 to pick up the win. Blayne Winningham led the way for the Indians with 20 points–16 in the second half. With the victory, the Indians are now 8-6 and will host Hutsonville Tuesday in non-conference play at LHS.
