Crawford Memorial Hospital in Robinson is the latest area hospital to implement visitor restrictions due to the flu. According to Public Information Officer Rebecca Ruppel, the increase in the number of flu cases in the area has prompted the action to protect the patients, staff, and community from the spread of the illness. No one will be allowed to visit the facility if they exhibit flu-like symptoms, only immediate members of a patients family will be allowed to visit and there will be a limit of two visitors at a time. Children under the age of 18 are advised not to visit the hospital and some people may be asked to wear masks while visiting.
