A Sullivan County Indiana man has been located safe after being reported missing by his family. James Hand reportedly got into a disagreement with family members this past weekend and left to take his canoe onto the Wabash River Sunday. He entered the river at the Hutsonville Docks and traveled south before setting up a camp on the Indiana side of the river just north of Russellville in Knox County. He awoke early Monday and was unable to get to his canoe due to the rising river. He then began walking on foot. Authorities searching for Hand found him near Oaktown in Knox County in good condition.
