LAWRENCEVILLE NOVEMBER POLICE REPORT

Lawrenceville Police Chief Jim White has released his departmental activity report for the month of November. During the month, city police recieved 300 officer requests. Those officers were involved in 8 drug investigations, 7 assault and battery investigations, 4 theft investigations, 3 burglary and vandalism investigations and 2 shoplifting and stolen vehicle investigations. There were 16 felony arrests during the month along with 24 misdeamenor arrests and there were 4 ordinance violations. The department handled 12 traffic accidents-10 of those involved property damage while there was 1 personal injury accident and 1 case of hit and run. Lawrenceville police also assisted the Lawrence County Sheriffs Department and the Illinois State Police 3 times in November and also assisted emergency fire and medical personnel 3 times during the month.
