The Bridgeport City Council will soon have a new member. They approved the appointment of Brad McDaniel to the council at their regular session Tuesday night. He will replace Chuck Lemeron who stepped down from his alderman position after moving out of district. McDaniel will be formally sworn in at the January meeting.
