The Crawford County States Attorneys Office reports that an Oblong man has been sentenced to prison. 45 year old George Russell was charged with Aggravated Battery, a Class 2 Illinois felony. He recieved a term of three years in the Illinois Department of Corrections to be followed by two years of mandatory supervised release.
