Crawford County States Attorney Matthew Hartrich has announced that he has filed with the Illinois State Board of Elections to run for the nomination for At-Large Circuit Judge in the Second District. That vacant position was previously held by David Overstreet. Hartrich was elected as Crawford County States Attorney back in 2012 and was re-elected in 2016. Prior to that, he had served as a Public Defender, an assistant States Attorney and has been a civil litigation attorney.
