VU BOARD AND MID-YEAR COMMENCEMENT

The Vincennes University Board of Trustees welcomed it’s newest member this week. Don Villwock was officially sworn in at the Wednesday meeting. He was recently appointed to the board by Governor Eric Holcomb replacing Millie Marshall. Villwock’s expertise with agricultural issues is expected to be a benefit to the university. Meanwhile, VU will hold its Mid-Year Commencement Saturday at 11 a.m. Eastern Time at the Red Skelton Performing Arts Center. Dr. Laura Treanor, provost and vice president of instructional services, will preside and Elaine Burklow, president of the Faculty Senate will convene the ceremony. University president Chuck Johnson will address the graduates. Admittance to the ceremony is via ticket only. Doors will open Saturday at 10 a.m. Eastern Time.
