LCMH BOARD MEETS

The Lawrence County Memorial Hospital Board of Directors held its annual December dinner meeting at Havoline Hall in downtown Lawrenceville Tuesday night. Upon recommendation of its building and grounds committee, the board approved ADG of Mt Carmel as the architects for a planned upstairs renovation project. No firm timeline has been set for beginning that project. The board also approved a continuing line of credit with Peoples State Bank in Lawrenceville. Hospital Chief Executive Officer Don Robbins also reported on the first review of the annual business plan and on the revamped and updated hospital website which will launch on January 1st. The hospital has been recognized by the Illinois Critical Access Hospital Network for demonstrating the most improvement over one year and for creation of a daytime acute care clinic.
