HIGH WIND WARNING

The National Weather Service in Lincoln Illinois has issued a High Wind Warning for Wednesday for the entire WAKO listening area in southeastern Illinois and Southwestern Indiana. Winds will be gusting from the west throughout the day at 30 to 40 miles per hour with some gusts as high as 50 miles per hour. These types of winds could blow down tree limbs and power lines causing power outages. Travel will be difficult especially for high profile vehicles and vehicles on north-south running roads. Anything loose outdoors such as lawn furniture and trash recepticles will be blown around.
