The search for a new executive director for the Knox County Development Corporation is continuing. KCDC officials indicated recently that they would like to have an interim director for the organization in place after 30 to 45 days and before the end of the year. The search for a permanent executive director would intensify after the first of the new year with hopefully that person being in place by the summer of 2020. The new director would succeed Kent Utt who resigned after 5 years to enter the private business sector as an appraiser.
