An Effingham County man has announced he will make a bid for the Republican nomination for 15th District Congressman from Illinois. Kerry Wolff of Altamont on Saturday indicated that he is a candidate for the seat being vacated by John Shimkus. Wolff is a businessman with a diverse background in Ag Business, Financial Services, and the Solar Power Industry. He is also vice-president of the Altamont Unit #10 School Board.
