RICHLAND COUNTY JUDGE DUNN TO RETIRE

Richland County Second Circuit Judge Larry Dunn has announced he will retire from the bench in December of 2020. Dunn who is a Richland County native was first appointed as Resident Judge by the Illinois State Supreme Court in April of 1997 after serving several years as Richland County States Attorney. He was formally elected in 1998 and was retained three times in 2004, 2010, and 2016. The announcement by Dunn will open up the office of Richland County Resident Circuit Judge to be filled in the general election in November of 2020.
