LHS HOMECOMING

Lawrenceville High School is preparing for Homecoming 2019. The theme is “On Broadway.” The annual parade will be Friday afternoon at 5 p.m.  and will be followed by the King and Queen Coronation at Ed Loeb Field. The 2019 Queen candidates are Taiyler Thompson, Sara Joines, Aubrey Bedwell, Paige Tewell, and Macy Bousley. The 2019 King candidates are Blayne Winningham, Kaleb McFarland, Skyler Tewell, Noah Weger, and Christian Beamon. A bonfire is planned Friday evening at dusk at Loeb Field with students and the general public invited to attend. The annual Alumni Mixer will be Friday evening from 5 p.m. until midnight at the Lawrenceville Moose at 1105 Walnut Street. Admission is a $10 donation. The Annual Homecoming football game is Saturday at 2 p.m. at Loeb Field with the Indians hosting the Casey-Westfield Warriors in Little Illini Conference play. The LHS Sports Hall of Fame inductions will be at 6 p.m. in the LHS Gymnasium Saturday while the Homecoming Dance is Saturday evening at 7 in the LHS cafeteria. Tickets are $8 in advance and $10 at the door.
