The St Louis Cardinals won their first division title in four years Sunday with a 9-0 win over the Chicago Cubs on the final day of the regular season at Busch Stadium. The Cardinals are the NL Central champions after Jack Flaherty limited the Cubs to two hits over seven innings before a sellout crowd. He recieved plenty of offensive support as Matt Carpenter, Dexter Fowler, and Paul Goldschmidt all homered as the Cards ran up an 8-0 lead by the third inning in the win. The Cardinals will now move on to meet the Atlanta Braves in a divisional series that begins Thursday in Atlanta.
