Ian Happ hit a tie-breaking RBI double off Andrew Miller in the top of the seventh inning Friday night to spur a seven run inning and lead the Chicago Cubs to an 8-2 win over the St Louis Cardinals at Busch Stadium. The win snapped a nine game losing streak. Happ also homered and Robel Garcia homered in the win. The loss was the third in a row for the Cardinals. They did however inch closer to the NL Central title as Milwaukee dropped an 11-7 decision to the Colorado Rockies. The magic number to clinch is now 2. The two rivals battle again Saturday night with Cole Hamels (7-7) going for the Cubs against Adam Wainwright (14-9) for the Cards. The game can be heard on Lite 103 WAKO beginning with the pregame at 5:40 p.m. Central Time 6:40 p.m. Eastern.
