A Vincennes man was taken into custody late last week on two counts of Rape. City Police arrested 27 year old James Beamon on those offenses Friday. The case is still under investigation and no other details have been released. Beamon was being held in the Knox County Jail on $25,000 bond. City Police arrested 30 year old Kristin Bye of Vincennes on three counts of Theft Sunday. She alledgedly took items from the Vincennes Wal-Mart. She was also found to be wanted on a Knox County warrant for Theft. Bye was being held without bond in the Knox County Jail.
