Kyle Schwarber of the Chicago Cubs blasted a sixth inning grand slam home run to spur a five run inning and lead them to a 10-5 win over the Milwaukee Brewers Thursday night in game one of their NL Central series at Miller Park. The loss drops the Brewers 7 1/2 games behind St Louis in the divisional race and five back of Chicago for the second NL wild card. The two teams meet in game two Friday night with Cole Hamels (7-5) going against Zack Davies (8-7). Due to our high school football coverage on Lite 103 WAKO the game will not be heard.  Our coverage of Cubs baseball resumes Saturday night with game three of the series.
