The annual Sumner Fall Festival begins its three day run Thursday through Saturday in the western Lawrence County city. It will feature food and craft booths, raffle drawings, music, and other activities planned by the Booster Club. The opening night will have the Royal Family Coronation with a King, Queen, Prince, and Princess selected at 5:15 p.m. That will be followed by a Gospel concert featuring the Red Letter Quartet. Friday will have a car show and cruise in with a Little Miss and Mister Sumner Fall Festival contest and a concert by the Ash Band. Saturday has tumbling demonstrations, wrestling, a cake walk, and a baby contest scheduled along with live music from “Common Ground.” The festival parade will start at 2 p.m. with lineup at 12:30 p.m. All are invited to attend.
