The City of Vincennes has announced that residents could soon start seeing Census Bureau employees going door to door in neighborhoods. They will be canvassing for the 2020 Census. Canvassing is the method used to retrieve address information needed to send out invitations to complete the online questionnaire for the census next spring. The Census listers will knock on doors in order to verify each place where people could live or stay. All Census listers will have an official 2020 Census badge with a photo ID, official bag, and official laptop computer with the 2020 Census logo.
