Published reports indicate that authorities are continuing to investigate the circumstances surrounding the death of a 7 week old boy in Lawrenceville late last week. The boy died at the Mills Terrace Apartment complex in east Lawrenceville last Friday. An autopsy to determine the exact cause of death was done on Saturday and those results remain pending. The Lawrenceville Police Department along with the Illinois State Police and the Illinois Childrens Death Task Force are all part of the ongoing investigation. No charges have yet been filed.
