KNOX COUNTY INJURY ACCIDENT

Two people were hurt in a single vehicle accident Monday night in Knox County Indiana. Authorities say that the mishap involved the vehicle being driven by 39 year old Braun Baker of Vincennes. It veered off South Sixth Street Road near Vincennes and struck a tree and damaged some electricial power lines. Baker and his 43 year old wife Lottie were trapped in the wreckage and had to be extricated by emergency rescue personnel. Braun Baker was airlifted to Deaconness Hospital in Evansville while Lottie Baker was taken by ambulance to Good Samaritan Hospital in Vincennes. Police say the cause of the accident remains under investigation.
