Jose Quintana pitched seven solid innings and popular first baseman Anthony Rizzo blasted a two run homer off the scoreboard in left center to propel the Chicago Cubs to a 7-1 win over the Pittsburgh Pirates in the MLB Little League Classic Sunday night in Williamsport Pennslyvania. Nicholas Castellanos and Jason Heyward also went deep as the Cubs picked up their second straight win over the Pirates and first road series win since May over Washington. The victory also enables the Cubs to trail St Louis by percentage points for first in the NL Central. The Cubs are off Monday and return to Wrigley Field Tuesday night to begin a three game series with the San Francisco Giants.
