It will soon cost more for vehicles to cross the Wabash Cannonball Bridge in St Francisville. The City Council this week revised the toll fees for the structure starting on January first on next year. Tolls were increased by 50 cents for cars and $1 for tandem axle trucks and semis. Other various vehicle type tolls will also increase by varying amounts on that date. The increase was necessitated by the upcoming increase in the minimum wage for Illinois workers among other factors.
